I Disgust Myself

Update: Ashley is safe! Mary was right, he had kidnapped her and even taken her out of state by the time she got away and called the police. She’s in the hospital for now, but I’m sure she’ll get back to you as soon as she can. :) :) :)

This is Mary, again, just coming to update all of you. It has now been three days and nobody has heard anything from Ashley, or her boyfriend. While the police insist we can’t assume anything, the fact that she was last seen leaving the library with a male while distressed, and the fact that they both disappeared on the same day speaks for itself. 

I, personally, know beyond any doubt that he found her and ran off with her. Of course, with no clues or leads or anything to go off of, the search party has essentially narrowed down to myself and a few of Ashley’s friends who now truly believe her story. Now that he’s shown his true colors, everyone is coming around.

So please, if any of you hear from Ashley, let her know these people are truly, honestly safe to call; tell her that Mary said so.

The police haven’t “given up”, but they certainly aren’t putting forth much effort any more. If I can find a good, recent photo of her I will post it (assuming I figure out how on earth to post photos on here). In the meantime, keep an eye out for a girl about 5’5” with short (chin-length) blonde hair and green eyes. Just a little underweight, last seen wearing a light-colored sundress with no sleeves and a brown pattern on it. 

I don’t have a very accurate description of her boyfriend, but from what I understand he’s just an inch or two taller than her, and muscular. Short dark hair and blue eyes.

If you see a couple matching this description, you can go ahead and just message me here. Myself and Ashley’s friends are using this as another means of finding her, so it will be checked multiple times a day from now on.

My name is Mary, and Ashley has been staying with me these past few days to get away from her boyfriend. I am not sure how much she has told you about what is going on, but he was very abusive, and I believe I took her out of there just in time. Recently he found out what city she was staying in, and we have been frantically working to get her moved again. I know that she comes to the library a lot to get on her Tumblr, but I have asked her to always be home by the time I get off work, at 7.

When I came home today, she was not at the house. All of her things are there, minus her laptop. I immediately came to the library looking for her, but she is not here. I asked the librarian if she had seen her, and showed her a picture.

Ashley was last seen leaving the building with her laptop bag and a male, about three hours prior to my showing up. Whether or not this male was her boyfriend, I don’t know. She is not picking up her cell phone, or answering texts. The librarian said they both seemed distressed, so I strongly suspect he showed up and threatened or coerced her into coming with him in some way. I have called the police station and the psych ward in her hometown to see if she was there, but they have not seen her. If she is with him, he is not turning her in, and I am deathly afraid of what he might be doing instead.

If anybody here has her number, please try to contact her and have her contact me. I am going back to the house and wait for her. I will try to keep you updated on the situation. Send prayers and positive thoughts for her safe return.

Everything just feels all wrong.

I dunno. It’s been a while, so I’m guessing the police/hospital have backed off. I am a little nervous about him still being around… but what am I going to do? Hide in my house all day every day? 

Actually… if I had wifi at the house, that is *exactly* what I would be doing. :(

Safely got home, and safely got to the library again. Probably won’t be here for long….. this is probably the most frustrated I have ever felt in my whole life

I really, *really* don’t feel good about being outside anymore.

I don’t even know how long ago she told them, so there’s no saying I’ll be safe even on the walk “home”.

I could use a fuckin bowl. I wish we could talk in person. Xanax is about the only thing that would calm my shit right now. I think I’m going to head back to the house soon, even though I’m dreading just sitting around worrying with nothing, not even Tumblr, to distract me… but it’s dangerous to be out and about.

And none to be found.

I guess this is me quitting Xanax.

Lame.

I could use one a couple right now.
